The connected Nanoleaf HomeKit bulb was turned on randomly after the power was turned off

Cupertino, November 21, 2021

We had a 2 second power outage in the middle of the night, and the Nanoleaf Essentials light bulb we have in the bedroom turned on 100%, waking us up. Then it took a minute while HomeKit showed it in the "update" state before I could turn it off. We also have other Nanoleaf bulbs and strips that did not do this. It's as if the power outage resets the light bulb, but I would expect it to be in the off position by default, not on. We have relatively frequent power outages, so I don't want this to happen again (I'm already in the dog house; I've never had this problem with wall switches). Any idea?
