I need an alarm system and am looking for guidance from other HomeKit users who have alarm systems. HomeKit integration is not a difficult requirement, but I would like to go this route, as some alarms have it built in, and others can be added through the homebridge. I was leaning towards Abode because it has native HomeKit integration, but I didn't find too many great comments about them here. I will need to have the system monitored professionally, but I don't necessarily want to monitor it every day - I could activate professional monitoring at will for certain dates or months is something I would appreciate. I have the bells and they work well, but I don't think they are fantastic - they often get out of motion. I have several Eufy indoor cameras and have just purchased others, as well as a few Eufycam 2 cameras that I will use outside my home, so the video alarm system is not a difficult requirement for me.
