The disappearance of automation - no scenes or accessories

Cupertino, October 5, 2021

Has anyone come up with a solution as to why this sometimes happens? I've seen posts where people mention that it goes up to iOS 11, but I'm here on iPadOS 14.7.1 and I still see my automations disappear.

[No scenes or accessories.](https://preview.redd.it/7uxlrj2fxom71.jpg?width=2184&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=010e1407b653d227033b6ffe2ae73270f9d5931a) If you take a look at the picture above, you can "scenes". If I'm really lucky and I don't investigate the problem, sometimes it is solved by magic, but if I go and check this it seems to guarantee me an automation that never repairs and will be broken until I reprogram it. Devices that are part of automation are still there and work from the main interface. I don't do anything unusual, I don't even use third-party HomeKit applications. The button should trigger a shortcut automation that checks if a smart connector is connected. If it is turned on, it stops; if it is disabled, it turns it on. It's incredibly frustrating, because HomeKit is the only platform that connects things like Aqara, Hive and Hue. Any advice I received with gratitude and yes, I tried to reset everything, turn on and off things - I even completely replaced Apple TV 4K with the latest model and no difference.
