The HomeKit application needs a design overhaul

Cupertino, December 24, 2021

I've always hated the look of the HomeKit app. Having boards in an arbitrary arrangement is a poor interface. Even the way the rooms are arranged is awful. Why should I spend half a dozen pages going from the living room to the kitchen when I'm right next to each other in my house?!? I wish I could have a floor plan or other visual representation of my house instead of button pages. Do you think that the interface could use improvements? What would you do if you redesigned it?
