The level of achievement is an absolute waste of money

Cupertino, July 7, 2021

To say that it works as intended 25% of the time would be generous ... Key cards did not work once despite multiple repairs. The lock itself reads "locked" 95% of the time, despite a professional installation and multiple recalibrations, which leads to the lock in my apartment, despite the fact that you have the key, phone and keys (non-functional) on my person . It's not helpful in this area either ... Which leads me to my biggest upset: Touch to unlock. The iconic function of this lock is not for us poor people living in apartments, because the only way this dumb lock can activate this feature is to set a radius around your house. But you / bastonkastonk, spirit, right? Well, if, like me, you live in an apartment and you need to walk your dog or pick up something from the corner store, you'll never leave your radius and therefore never activate the function. Seriously, my radius covers our entire block (~ 20-30 properties with ~ 100 residents) plus the block over (same offer there). Worse still, there is no way to narrow anyone's range! This feature was clearly built for suburban housing, without being thought of by tenants in the city. You are about to return this POS to the Apple Store. Don't make the same mistake I made and stay away from the touch level ... Edit: the radius is more ridiculous and unusable than I remembered, it covers 3 neighborhood blocks and even half the property of the neighboring high school, which is over a major intersection! I should go over a mile to leave it, then return home in less than five minutes for this function to work ...
