The Logitech bell is very good at one thing

Cupertino, May 27, 2021

The "Doorbell has gone offline" alert is triggered daily on time! I have the most consistent automation with HomeKit. Am I on the second replacement, and Logitech asking my left kidney for a refund seems a bit discouraged? After this device continued to work both offline and online, it short-circuited the case, which melted. I called an electrician and he told me to remove the bell and the extension of the bell to be safe, because it must be a short one somewhere. The transformer is new and working, the wires have the right power, and the sound kit has not been fried. When I went to their support team, I was told that because I took down the sound kit and couldn't make a video, I couldn't really help myself. I'm asking to reinstall the ringtone kit just to send them a video showing them that it doesn't work. If not, I just have to enjoy the $ 200 weight. 🤣 Being someone who has over 100 devices in my home, including a HomeBridge server with cameras, this was by far the worst experience I've had for something to work. The only thing worse than the product was the treatment of their company's bureaucratic assistance. Logitech could have the cure for cancer and I'm more at risk. Sheesh
