I installed the Logitech bell at the end of last week. Everything went smoothly. Well, almost everything. I couldn't get the existing internal ringer (IQ America DW-1402A) to ring. I am 99.9% sure that I installed the sound kit correctly with a correct connection. Even tested the continuity with the voltmeter. I also configured the correct bell settings in the Home app (HomePod sounds if I chose). I can even see that the LED of the sonar kit changes from green to blue when I press the switch or press the bell button. However, instead of ringing, the inner digital ringtone only gives a VERY soft noise (more like an electric noise) that you need to have on one foot to hear. I measured over the TRANS and FRONT terminals and it is ~ 14V. So far I feel that the ringer is fine (otherwise the LED of the soner kit will not light up. ALL the other functionalities work excellently, video, light, HKSV etc.). Could it be the bell kit? Or the inner bell itself? The interior sound worked perfectly before. Or the transformer? (But the bell picks up power and works well). I also tried to change thread 2 and 3 as others suggested 😔 Please let us know. Thanks 🙇‍♂️
