The fact is that while many, many people have stable HomeKit configurations, there are obviously many who have problems with HomeKit most likely due to network issues. I think we've all seen that. Think of a wifi network that previously supported several PCs and a streaming cassette, now suddenly loads with a dozen IoT devices. This stress / charge exposes the weaknesses of your wifi network. Suddenly, you have a network that needs to be modified (channel selection) or debugged (for example, for multiple DHCP servers) or amplified in another way (WiFi extenders, mesh networks, etc.). Now, assuming you have a single Thread border router (also known as the HomePod Mini) with a stable wifi connection, with Thread the rest is magically and dynamically cared for and under the hood, with self-healing and more. Not only is the Thread network more stable than Bluetooth devices without a network, but it's even faster.
