My Netatmo ringtone just arrived and I set it up without a bell and connected it directly to the network (UK) using an Ohmkat power adapter (Nest Hello version). It works absolutely well. Powers start as expected and alerts come on iOS and Apple TV devices. You will be truly happy once Homepod receives and updates and will receive audible alerts. I thought this confirmation might be of interest to anyone waiting, because at some point it felt like a risky purchase!
