Apple is preparing to launch a new iPad model, according to a file found in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission on Monday.
A device with the A2229 model identifier is presented in the regulatory database, which has proven track record of future Apple hardware disclosures, which typically feature products from a few weeks to several months before launch.
Currently, it is not known whether the model listed in the database is a new iPad, iPad Pro or iPad mini, although reports have speculated Apple is preparing an updated iPad Pro with an iPhone 11 Pro triple lens camera system.
The only detail confirmed by the list is that the device will deliver iPadOS 13, which suggests that the hardware will arrive before the iPadOS 14 release scheduled for September.
