MIAMI (CBSMiami) - South Florida test sites are gearing up for more people who want to be tested after Christmas. Many sites have closed completely or closed early for the holidays.
Florida is breaking infection records again. The CDC reported more than 32,000 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

"I made a kit at home and tested positive, so I'm here trying to get real results," said a person from the Tropical Park's COVID test site.
The rise of omicrons has turned the joy of the holidays into a trip to Tropical Park to remove COVID.
Person after person, they told CBS4's Joel Waldman that they were out of date.

"Nose, cough, like that," one person said.
The nurses also go with the flow, move and straighten despite many meditations, reminding us who the real "rock" stars are.
"Do you feel we'll ever get rid of this right now?" asked a person in line to be tested.
"I hope so, but I still don't see the light," she said.

Some in the line said they had canceled Christmas to keep their loved ones safe.
