Tips for a new setup

Cupertino, January 30, 2021

All evening, so now my house is run by Google Home - I have mini speakers, nest hub display, Tapo C200 camera that I use as a baby monitor, Phillips Hue lighting. Our family is based on Apple - iPhone, Apple TV, iPad, etc. and I think maybe you'd better switch to HomeKit. The configuration so far is obviously ATV, Hive heating and Philips Hue Lighting. My LG WebOs TV has just been updated to become Homekit-fab compatible. I'm thinking about my Tapo camera now - is it possible to connect? I've heard of Home Assistant and Home Bridge. Would they work? If so .. a) can they be run via a VPS? b) If so, how can I ensure it - obviously because it is a room, etc. Would you like someone who knows more about this for advice on what is best? For display - I know you have iPhone, Siri and iPad, but people have a wall-mounted display configuration, etc.? Maybe it's cheaper than buying native compatible homekit products? Thank you in advance :)
