Tradfri > Zigbee > HomeKit?

Cupertino, April 27, 2024

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out a setup and could use some help

I have an AppleTV as my main hub and two bridges: Philips Hue and Lidl (standard Zigbee, works with SmartHome app).

Hue lights appear in HomeKit via Hue Bridge, no problem Standalone HomeKit devices (sockets) appear in HomeKit, so far good Lidl lights or sockets appear in Homekit via SmartHome

The IKEA lights show up perfectly in the SmartHome app (both Zigbee) but not in HomeKit and I can't figure out why...

I would like to buy a smart blind from IKEA to create automation in my child's bedroom for sleep time: turn off the light (Hue), close the blind (IKEA), play quiet music on the HomePod mini, etc. So I need all the devices in HomeKit. I thought this would be doable since they are all Zigbee.

Is there any way to do this? An option I'm missing to use ikea devices from HomeKit with a standard Zigbee bridge? Thank you for your help!
