I live in Brazil and here it is very common in homes to have gas water heaters. In my case, I have two heaters, controlled by a traditional digital thermostat. This thermostat has only basic functions, such as switching on, off, raising or lowering the temperature. Last year, on a visit to the USA, I bought a smart thermostat from Honeywell (Lyric model). My idea would be to replace this traditional thermostat with a smart thermostat. But I realized that in the US, these thermostats are much more comprehensive, controlling heating and cooling, which we do not have in Brazil. I have tried assistance with many technicians in Brazil, but they do not know this type of device. In short, can anyone tell me if I can use Honeywell Lyric to Homekit control only heating with basic functions (on / off, rise / fall temperature)? I will try to post some photos to illustrate. I’m new to the community, I’m still learning to use Thank you in advance!
