I’m about at my wit’s end on this one.
I keep trying to add a family member (also shares with my iCloud family account) to the home I set up for us. The invite goes to their phone immediately. When clicking on accept it eventually times out and is unable to accept or decline the invitation. While their acceptance is timing out, the permissions I have on my home change from owner to resident, my icon and name remain the same, and my email changes to my family member’s email. I am unable to have owner privileges until I restart my phone and I’m restored to normal.
I just updated both our phones to iOS 15 and this hasn’t helped. I was able to log out of their iCloud and log into mine on their phone and home controls worked just fine with my account on her phone.
I’ve searched online and haven’t been able to find others with my particular problem.
Any help on this would be great!
Edit: I tried adding myself to a home they created and the problem replicated itself in all the same ways. I do also have a pihole on my network. Could that be interfering?
