Recently, I have been experiencing connectivity issues, especially with my Eufy 2K Pro (Homebase 2) outdoor cameras, even after restarting the homebase. After some trial and error between Ethernet and WiFi, I found that manually tuning the 2.4GHz WiFi channel – rather than leaving it on auto – significantly increased stability.
Here's what worked for me:
Go to your router settings and switch the 2.4GHz WiFi channel to 1 or another suitable option.
Restart the affected home base or HomeKit device.
Restart the Apple Hub. In my case, after restarting it, it switched from an Apple TV 4K Gen 2 to a HomePod mini as a hub.
Double check that everything is working smoothly now, if not, reboot the hub and devices again.
Since implementing these changes, my home setup has been running smoothly for over 5 days. For reference, I'm using a NETGEAR Orbi Quad-Band WiFi 6E Mesh (RBKE963) system with 2 satellite extenders.
