I have an iPad 4 that was just sitting, so I decided to delete it and make it a control center for the house. We’ve created a new iCloud account specifically for this, so we don’t have to worry about messages / images / notifications appearing. I can add that account to our family group, but I only receive a generic “Failed Invitation” when I try to invite them to the Home app. Everything I can find online says to make sure the iCloud account is connected to something that is on the latest iOS version, but obviously this iPad can’t because it hasn’t received any updates to 10.3.3. Has anyone found a way around this limitation?
Trying to use an old iPad as the home’s control center, but experiencing connection issues due to old iOS limitations. Help?
