"Turn off after x minutes" and Philips Hue bulbs

Cupertino, April 14, 2024

Does anyone know of a definitive fix for home kit automations with Philips Hue bulbs not "turning off after x minutes" that seemed to be around for years?

Automations fire fine, including those with multiple non-tinted and tinted devices, but after 2 minutes the non-tinted devices shut down correctly and the tinted lights stay on. It's incredibly frustrating to see years of posts on the internet about this tint problem, but it doesn't seem like a solid solution.

Any pointers on how I can get them to stop reliably?
