I was dealing with intermittent “No Answer” issues with a basic configuration of the basic UniFi network, especially with Logi cams. I recently discovered a LAN setting called “IGMP Snooping” that has been activated. This setting tries to intelligently limit where multicast packets are sent. Multicast packets appear to be an important part of the HomeKit network, and occasionally the UniFi switch / router incorrectly filtered packets. After deactivating the setting, in the last 7 days, I had no problems with “No Answer”. I hope this tip will help you!
