I have 3 other Apple TVs associated with me at home, they all work well. This is the 4th. During the initial setup, I tried to do the automatic setup and my iPad just didn't see it, I tried to lock / unlock the iPad as they suggest, restart, etc., I never saw it, so I had to do the manual setup. I added it to my iCloud account and I see it there, but when I try to add it to Homekit, my iPad won't see it again. Both are connected with the same icloud account, which is the same one I used for the other 3 that worked. One thing I noticed is that on my iPad -> Settings -> Home it says “You currently have no homes or home invitations. Create houses in an application supported by Homekit ”. However, in the Home app, I see all my devices and they all work, so I know I definitely have a Home setup. There are light switches, sockets, Homepods, Apple TVs, etc. and they all respond in the home app on both my iPad and my iPhone.
