Unsafe automation

Cupertino, April 26, 2021

Hello, I have two motion sensors - one Hue and one Ikea. Both report movement each time (as checked in the Home app over several days). However, the automations created using these sensors never work, although sometimes they work out of nowhere and even happen to have a kind of "winning series" from time to time. I use an iPad Air 2 as a hub, a stable 5 Ghz connection and only 3 meters away from the router, connected. Both Hue and Tradfri bridges are connected to a LAN. As I wrote at the beginning, it is not a problem of reporting sensor events, but only automations fail to trigger most of the time. Any idea? I'm thinking of getting a HomePod Mini, but I'm afraid I'll spend money just to find out it's a HomeKit issue rather than an HW issue.
