This post is not important. Just sharing thoughts and opinions. Just received my first 4 pack of 75w hue bulbs. Setup was nice. Like you don't need to scan a QR code every time you add a light bulb. First comparison with Vocolinc bulbs. Hue is just a fast vocolinc so it's good but Vocolincs colors are much better In my opinion. Blues in particular. Blue on Hue is more of a whitish blue. While Vocolinc is an almost acrylic deep blue color. I like. And Vocolincs colors are still a bit brighter. Hue doesn't have as many options when creating scenes in home plus. Vocolinc bulbs allow me to change the brightness without turning on the bulb. So I can create a 100% brightness scene to have all the lights reach 100% without turning them on. But on the shade, if you change the brightness, it is assumed that you want the light to be on. This is a big downside for me. Not sure, I was expecting to be blown away by the performance. But a bit disappointed. Do I still have to think it's worth the extra cost? I will keep trying them. See if I win.
