I prepared a scene that says “Hey Siri, good night” and all the lights in the house come on and then a hall light comes on. Once this is complete, I say “Hey Siri, play the sound of rain” and play the sound of rain on my HomePod. For various reasons, I don’t like Apple Music and prefer Spotify, but interestingly, when I say that, it plays the sound of rain through what I assume is Apple Music on the HomePod, even though I uninstalled Apple Music on my phone (confirmed by looking at the phone and seeing that Spotify does not play it – it is actually a color icon with SOUND written twice in a circle and a small Apple logo in the upper right corner) My question is, is there a way I can combine these two actions in one, just starting the good night scene? If necessary, I’m fine with installing the music app, though, because it already uses that, I don’t think it’s necessary. I set this up seamlessly on Google, but I’m trying to move this kind of thing to Apple (I wish I had a watch on my HomePod so I could get rid of Google completely!) Thanks.
Use HomePod to play music as part of a good night scene.
