For a long time, I've been running Security Spy on my Mac desktop to see the cameras. Then I started adding rooms to Home through Homebridge, and now native rooms. I don't want to use Security Spy anymore, but ... the cameras in my house can't be left open in the background. I often want to watch a space for a few minutes or an hour at a time. When I go to do other work, Home dims the camera and stops the flow. Does anyone know a solution? Doesn't anyone use their cameras this way? One of the many use cases is to track the door for a delivery. Another is watching the dogs when his wife is gone, and I'm at the office. and so on
