Viewing the Logitech circle possible fix

Cupertino, May 15, 2021

We contacted logitech support to determine, hopefully, a solution for Circleview cameras that shows an "no response" in the HomeKit. The only room I never gave up and didn't lose my power. But once a day, HomeKit won't be able to see it until I power up the camera. My camera is mounted outside about 13 feet from the -58DBM access point. I have the full length of the supplied power cord, which has been connected to an 8-foot extension cord to reach the outlet. They sent me back a list of questions so they could gather more information and help me troubleshoot. Along with these questions they included this statement. "It simply came to our notice then. Please try to connect the camera to a direct wall outlet and please note if the problem persists. I have experienced in several cases that the connection of the camera to the power supply will also affect the performance of the camera in the homekit. Please let us know about the result. "I untied the extension cord following their advice. And plug the camera directly into the outlet and my problems are gone. I updated them on the status and received this email instead. "From now on, the only advice we suggest to users is to connect the camera to a direct socket. We've provided a weatherproof extension for the Circle View camera, but we don't have a weatherproof extension for the Circle View camera yet. But don't worry, we'll approve your suggestion to our web developers to consider whether this might be possible in the future. We want to thank you for the suggestion. We really appreciate entries like this, so that we can improve our products and services. If you need additional help or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are more than happy to help you. Thank you for being part of our inner circle! A good day! "We hope that soon they will have a solution to solve this power problem. But maybe I found a solution that works the same way. I connect the extension cord back to the camera and pull it up to the outlet. I inserted a HomeKit (meross) controllable plug into the extension cord and then plugged it in. I have been working for four days now and I have not had a problem with the HomeKit that can connect to my camera. I would say that it is definitely worth a photo if others face the same problem with expanding the power of the cameras.
