I have configured automations in the Home app and they have worked fine as intended.
Yesterday I forgot to turn off my VPN connected phone and woke up to find that an automation I had created did not trigger. Automation is time of day based and not localized, and my phone as well as my wife's phone were both in the house. I should add that my wife's phone is added to the home I created and that she has no automations on her app.
Two questions if anyone can help answer:
1. Does your VPN connection affect time-based automations and prevent them from triggering?
2. Do I need to recreate automations on my wife's phone to trigger time-based automations even if her phone is added to the home I created?
