We have (we will have at least soon) a small house in Europe where I will have to use a few wall switch modules to add connectivity to some 2-way switches. I'm looking at options between Shelly and Fibaro. I know that between the two, Shelly was generally considered the preferred choice because she has better response times, so I'm leaning towards that (I'll already have Home Assistant running). However, out of curiosity, should the launch of Matter next year not influence my decision at all? Did anyone say Fibaro plans to support this protocol? I guess * at best *, the launch of Matter could bring the two closer in terms of performance, but wouldn't that give Fibaro an advantage in any scenario? Or do I overlook any issues? Thank you in advance!
