Watching the homekit video stream will put my laptop to sleep, how do I stop?

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

We replaced our Nest cameras with Homekit Secure Video. We use a room to listen to our daughter while she sleeps. Using the Home app on OSX and watching the live stream, the laptop will eventually go into sleep mode. Is there a way to prevent this without having to completely change all my sleep / energy rules? (I was hoping that watching a video stream will block sleep similar to what happens if I watch youtube or netflix)
