I thought I was investing in good plugs/outlets by buying the Wemo Thread plugs. I upgraded from older plugs that required a hub and these are definitely better for HomeKit. Now I am using one to turn a pump on and off on a timer and it would be really nice to have notifications of successful On and Off states. Just realized that these plugs don’t support notifications (I think).
Is there any workaround? Any thread based plugs that support notifications?
I have switches and older plugs that allow notifications but they are problematic in other ways.
Edit: Thanks for the replies. This one plug is the only one I would want notifications for and I’d prefer stability and simplicity for this. I’ll probably just get a mechanical timer. I do like these thread plugs for everything else though.
