We're looking for a way to automate TV backlighting

Cupertino, January 7, 2022

Hi guys! I'm looking for a way to change the backlight of the TV in the Home app on my iPhone. All I have to do now is open the settings with the LG remote control, go to the picture mode settings and change the backlight there. But I'm looking for a way to do this from the Home app so I can automate it. I can only launch the settings from the TV in my home application, but I can't change the settings. It would be great to throw the remote control in a drawer and have less clutter. Any idea? Is there anything your TV can do? We use our TV during the day and at night when it is too bright for our eyes. I would be open for hacky / janky solutions :) The exact make and model of the TV: LG 43UN74006LB
