I understand that you will have fewer applications and probably fewer hubs, you can also accelerate faster with new hardware from a familiar brand, but are there more things than that? Is the hardware performance better?

The background is that I have been waiting and waiting for the netatmo bell. I want other indoor and outdoor rooms, but I remembered in case I want to build a netatmo ecosystem. But today I wondered why I should stick to one brand and I didn’t have a convincing answer. So, any thoughts?
