What it means for HomePod. Some questions answered!

Cupertino, March 13, 2021

The interruption of HomePod is very sad news because this speaker had an amazing sound and was great for TV audio, with its recent audio updates to play Dolby atmos. What does the statement mean when the apple interrupts something. 1. There is certainly no version 2 of HomePod that we know of. Apple would have kept its hand on the HomePod if there was an updated version on the way. Because not only did they interrupt it, but they also did so through a press release. HomePod is dead and a HomePod 2 is dead. 2. HomeKit is safe. Apple did not create HomeKit for HomePod. HomePod was a supplement to HomeKit to make connecting to the home easier and to have a great sound inside. HomeKit is more powerful than ever with the launch of HomePod mini and Thread support. Several brands are launching HomeKit products, and with the recent HomePod updates to the mini, I think the apple is in full swing, with the idea of having an apple product in every room. They simply could not justify this with the original HomePod. 3. Your existing homePod is safe for NOW. HomePod is 3 years old and apples keep updates in the mix for about 6-7 years. But I don't see Apple announcing major features for a product they no longer sell. I would say that Apple will keep the HomePod updated until 2022 according to the HomePod line, but it will eventually be an Airplay 2 speaker with Siri control. I would last until the end of this year before I got scared and saw what apple he has in the home entertainment area. Apple TV is still a product that Apple needs, because not all TVs support airplay or HomeKit, and HomePod mini can't carry this legacy on its own. I think something in this area is cooking. But he has to play his card right to do what HomePod failed to do in the mass market. I hope this helps people just as much with the sad news today. I love my HomePods and home for something in the future. But stay bright and cross your fingers. Leave your thoughts below 👇🏼
