What’s in store for HomeKit in 2020

The Apple HomeKit smart platform is finally starting to grow. With a host of new HomeKit compatible devices on display at CES, 2020 looks like a good year for new luggage of Apple-based smart home equipment.

HomeKit-compatible smart devices integrate with all Apple products, so you can do things like unlock the door with Apple Watch, turn off all lights with a command to Siri, and even control the house on your Apple laptop or computer. Drop a HomeKit hub into the mix (iPad, HomePod or AppleTV) and you'll get remote control of all your devices outside the home.

At CES this year, a lot of companies have launched their new HomeKit compatible devices, which promise that products will arrive on a virtual shelf near you by the end of 2020. Here are some of these promising products, from smart cameras to to invisible door locks. and swanky switches.
