I have an automation to run when no movement was detected
It is for a Philips external sensor
Enjoy for 60 seconds
Quits automation if motion is detected
The question is, is this automation smart enough to check once with the sensor. As in, it detects movement and is in an active state and reports this to the HomeKit. Then it stops motion detection and reports it to HomeKit as standby.
HomeKit keeps track of this and no longer bothers the sensor and runs this automation or this type of automation constantly probes the sensor for a motion update and no motion.
