Hi, I'm just starting to design my smart home network. I'm a little confused about the best way to secure my smart home network and was hoping to get some guidance. Here's what I was thinking: * I'll be using a Unifi rig. * **LAN** – Computers, Mobile Phones * **VLAN\_IoT** – IoT Devices (My **HomeBridge on Raspberry Pi** will also go on this VLAN via Ethernet) * **VLAN\_Alarm** – Security System - ADT * **Guest Network** – All guests in the house I would also like to know where the **Apple HomeKit** goes (it will be on my ATV that will be connected). I've seen people posting that it should be on **LAN** or that it should be on **VLAN\_IoT.** **Security** * **LAN** will be able to talk to **VLAN \_IoT **, **VLAN\_Alarm** and **Guest Network.** * **VLAN\_IoT** will only have access to the Internet and no other VLANs * **VLAN\_Alarm** will have internet access and no other VLANs * **The guest network** is the guest network again, so it won't be able to reach the other VLANs and only has internet access.
