So I've been frustrated with this for years.
The ultimate goal for me is to make the ecobee go to his / her settings when my wife or I leave / come home. Capture, use the first apple to reach and the last to leave the function.
If I use the Ecobee geofence feature, everything works great. The problem I have is if I go before my wife, she stays in a cold house. Or if I come home late at night, she is awake when the lights come on.
I've reset ecobee and HomeKit too many times, so I hope someone can tell me the trick for this to work.
