Why are some devices so confused after changing the network or power supply?

Cupertino, January 30, 2021

Hi everyone, I've been using HomeKit for years and have found a constant: if the power goes out or the network shuts down a little, some devices will refuse to leave "no answer" until I brag about or reset them completely. Examples: changing the IP range in my network from 192.168.0.0/16 to 172.16.0.0/12; moving the router and modem, which had the network up and down for an hour; loss of power and then recovery; loss of power and switching to a generator for a while; and so on. Whenever this happens, all or almost all iDevices wall switches do not respond. Sometimes the button on the bottom right is enough to set them correctly, while other times I have to play with the pairing button, then the on / off button, trying to randomly press each one until the switch suddenly starts working. Sometimes the Aqara hub needs to be disconnected from the wall and reconnected. at least once. Other devices, from an iHome 5-in-1 sensor to Koogeek sockets to the Wemo socket that still works, are completely unaffected. In general, Bluetooth accessories are fine, which is logical because they are not in the wifi network. I'm not sure what to do about it, because it seems accidental. Apart from any network or power issues, these accessories are very solid. I just don't know why the network that goes down for an hour would make four switches and a socket scare me and I would love to receive any idea anyone has. I'm tempted to blame iDevices, except that it's not always just them and I've never read about anyone else with this type of problem.
