I use a completely greasy HomePod as my home center. All my devices appear in the Home app and I have no problems with them at all. They consist of Hue bulbs and motion sensors, Hive thermostats and an outdoor thermometer. Everything works great when it comes to automation. Nothing works. Stopwatches never activate anything, motion sensors never trigger lights, nothing. I tried basic sets in the Home app, as well as a few others created in Eve. No joy. So the question is why? What stops the automation of operation? I have a real loss in terms of what is wrong!
