Well, everyone, today is a weird Christmas. I was told by someone in the house that sometime after midnight, when people went to bed (taking over the Good Night scene) and at 1:30 AM, almost everything started. Christmas decorations, lights (both sockets and smart bulbs), even the socket that controls the coffee maker. I have no idea what happened. My first thought was automation, but I don't see one that does it all. Also, there is no scene to start all this. But does anyone do anything without realizing it? Did anyone tell Siri to "start the house" or something? No, everyone says he didn't do that. Okay, did anyone give a more limited order, such as "turn on the lights" without realizing that it will turn on every light? No, because the coffee machine is not set as a light, it is a socket. Did something activate everything, somehow? No, some lights weren't on, and the HomeBridge virtual switch that controls the lock wasn't on either. Also, the padlock was never unlocked last night. I'm perplexed. No automation or scenes could do this and no one issued an order. Controlled devices have been a mix of types, from smart light bulbs to wall switches to sockets that are configured as both lights and sockets. It was in several rooms and areas. This has never happened before. As far as I know, there was no power outage, and even if it did, most devices would turn on and off on their own. If anyone has any ideas, please share them. Obviously I'm a little worried about that. Thanks.
