I have a Linksys Velop with bandwidth enabled, but I have a problem with devices that stay connected. If I turn off the steering and create a separate 2.4 GHz network dedicated only to my smart devices, will HomeKit still work properly if my phone or MacBook is connected to the 5 GHz band? In other words, does the router create two completely isolated networks or would they combine them together even if they had separate SSIDs?
