I have a driveway sensor that is about 400m away, it picks up movement in the driveway and sends it back to the box inside the house that flashes a red led. If I were to place the receiver box in a black box, would a HomeKit light sensor be triggered by flashing LEDs? Or is that too sensitive? If I could somehow get HomeKit to recognize the receiver's lights, I could get alerts. Due to the distance, I can't think of many other solutions at affordable prices, plus I already have the alley alarm.
