Wyze purifies the air with the future purifier

Cupertino, December 3, 2021

Freshly infused with cash, Wyze continues to grab new products. And next to Amazon gadgets (and the occasional iHealth reseller) is the Wyze air purifier.

Unlike some of the other recent home products, the future Wyze Purifier will be really "smart" with WiFi connectivity and application control. Like my newly purchased Winix purifier, the internet connection makes programming easier and seeks to incorporate local air quality, such as tree pollen and smoke levels.

Like most air purifiers, it can operate at various speeds, including max and turbo, but without turbo max. While the case is square, Wyze incorporates a round filter - probably similar to the $ 105 Meross smart purifier. For a possible context, this is a 3-stage HEPA filter, capable of capturing 99.97% of 0.3 micron particles. But while Meross is compatible with Homekit, I assume that Wyze will only offer optional Alexa and Google Assistant integration.

There is still no talk of possible prices or the timing of the launch.
