Yale Connecting Bridge for Yale Assure Lock

I recently purchased a Yale Assure Smart lock with the new bridge and connector. I can use the Yale Home app to interface and manage the lock, but I can't use the login bridge. It won't connect to WiFi. The lock, bridge and modem are close to each other. I reset the bridge several times, going through the "connect to WiFi" process. I am using the correct WiFi password. I suspect the bridge is faulty. Can anyone suggest a solution to this? Did you need to return the pod because it was faulty? Thank you.
