You need a wall-mounted physical switch for smart bulbs.

Cupertino, January 21, 2020

In search of a decorating style (to fill in the blank space on my wall, the old switch on the left) the Homekit remote control. I know Logi Pop and the hue from a distance, but it doesn't fit into the standard wall decors. Pico removed from Lutron fits, but does not accept Homekit. There are solutions to using the Lutron light dimmer as a proxy to trigger Homekit automation and to control other accessories, but I don't want a lot of dimmers that are just as proxies.

TLDR: Looking for a wall-mounted, homekit remote control to control smart bulbs.

PS: Has anyone tried to use Homekit switches just as a proxy? Like replacing an old switch with a smart one, but you don't use it to control the power to the light socket. And you use the switch status to trigger automation through Homekit?
