HomeKit News has yet to review any Govee products, but their current output is quite prolific, especially in the lighting domain. Additionally, many of their products are Matter compatible. Such is the case with the new multicolor table lamp, initially reported by our colleagues at Homekits.de.

As with any of Govee’s Matter-compatible devices, this lamp uses 2.4GHz WiFi and works seamlessly with Apple Home. It offers the standard 16 million colors, and as seen from the image above, it can display multiple colors at once, including warm and cool whites.

One distinctive feature of this lamp is the ability to draw designs in the Govee app, which are then displayed on the device itself. The app also offers numerous multicolored animated presets.

The lamp features manual controls on top for power and brightness adjustments, as well as for switching between standard and animated preset effects. While most of the lighting is confined to the main body, the lower stand also emits color, thanks to its sculpted reflective design. The lamp reaches a maximum brightness of 500lm (likely when set to cool white), which is standard for a table lamp of its size and type.

Currently, the lamp is available on Amazon stores in Germany and the UK, but it is anticipated to reach the US market soon.
