Govee, the smart home lighting company, has launched its latest product, the Neon Rope Light 2, with Matter compatibility (via WiFi) this time around. The Neon Rope Light 2 aims to provide users with easy personalization through its new AI lighting bot feature, allowing them to transform their spaces with individual creativity. Govee has upgraded the bending clips and rope material to simplify the mold design and installation process for new or returning users. The improved bending clips can be easily pre-formed for a more hassle-free installation, and the softer rope material offers 14% more flexibility compared to the previous generation, making it easier to achieve the desired shape. The rope is also 14% lighter, increasing the likelihood of an easier installation.

The Neon Rope Light 2 introduces a new Shape Mapping feature in the Govee Home app, allowing users to effortlessly customize light shapes by capturing them with a camera. The light can be controlled in segments, offering various DIY lighting effect options. The use of AI technology will improve smart lighting and smart home products in the future, along with the creation of the AI Lighting Bot, which enhances fun and interactivity in the brand's lighting solutions. The AI function can analyze user input via text, voice, and image data to generate dynamic lighting effects. The Neon Rope Light 2 offers over 64 preset lighting effects, allowing users to enjoy a wide range of captivating lighting options. Users can easily adjust settings, change colors, and create schedules using simple taps or voice commands.

The Govee Neon Rope Light 2 is fully integrated with the Govee Home app and Matter, including Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, SmartThings, and Google Home, providing smart controls for personalized lighting experiences. The product is offered in black or white and in two lengths: 3m/9.8ft and 5m/16.4ft, suitable for different usage situations. The Neon Rope Light 2 is now available for US$69.99 for the 3m/10ft length and US$99.99 for the 5m/16.4ft option. These products are currently only available in North America, but will soon be available in Canada, Europe, and the UK.
