If you have multiple rooms set up in the Home app, with accessories in each, then you can go to different rooms at different times throughout the day to control those accessories. Therefore, it is important to have the rooms displayed in the desired order.

Maybe you would like the rooms in the order in which you choose them as a routine or maybe you simply prefer them in alphabetical order. Regardless of your preference, here's how to rearrange and change the order of the cameras in the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Rearrange the cameras in the Home app on iOS

Open The home application on your iPhone or iPad and then do the following to rearrange your cameras.

1) touch rooms at the bottom and go to any room.

2) touch Edit | × at the top and then tap the key the name of the Chamber.

3) Click on Rooms arrow top left.

4) When your room list opens, tap Edit | ×.

5) Select, drag and drop your rooms in the order you want them.

6) touch Done when you finish and Done once again to close the window.

The changes you make will sync to your devices.

Rearrange your cameras in the Home on Mac app

Open The home application on Mac and then follow these steps to change the order of the camera.

1) Click Edit | × > Edit the camera from the menu bar. It doesn't matter what room you are in

2) In the camera settings window, click the button arrow top left to go back.

3) You will see your list of rooms. touch Edit | × top left.

4) Now you can select, drag and drop your rooms in the order you want them.

5) Click Done when you finish and Done once again to close the window.

Just like the changes you make on your iPhone or iPad, the ones you make on your Mac will sync.
