I have a fairly simple automation. I want my foyer light (on homekit) to turn on at sunset. But it does not work. All my other automation (even for the same light to turn off at 9 am every day) work. Any ideas if sunset automation is turned up in one way or another?
Anyone else experiences this problem with 12.3? All my automation works well, except the automations triggered by Hue motion sensors. All 6 of my sensors are no longer able to trigger automation. This happened as soon as my HomePod was upgraded to 12.3
I've been working with Apple this past month, and they said this was a problem that would be corrected at 12.3, but it wasn't. In fact, I don't have much faith in Apple support, as I often explain how Homekit works. Of course, they do not use it or have any training in it. I […]
Do you think that would be a good idea for Apple? I want them to use them to create a rather solid HomeKit solution, if it is correct and over time, Google seemed to have failed. Maybe there is more to it than I know.

A lot of websites note Circle 2 accessories as discontinued. This comes after last weekend many accessories had a 50% discount. I wonder if the accessories just don't sell or if Circle 3 is on the way. With Nest becoming more restrictive, it would be a good time to have accessories available for people who […]
Hey. I'm thinking of buying a Logitech Circle 2 camera - the wired version for HK. & # X200B; A few questions for you who use it: * ** How many units / users can see the same power in HK at one time? ** * ** Is it possible to watch live view from […]
Are there any others with MyQ openers having problems recently? Homekit closes the doors but does not open them. FWIW MyQ apps (new and old) have the same problems. I tried to restart the bridges and not have my phone on wifi and mobile. It may not seem to make my functionality work again.

I'm getting crazy, I can't make HomeKit turn on Apple TV anymore after setting up an access point. I used to be able to stop and play them through the HomeKit app. I can still connect to the remote app and when I play music for them, they wake up. Last night I set up […]
August Doorbell Camera appeared right on my Home.app without setup, won't go live or make two-way audio, but that's where
I've been using Apple products for many years now, so when I switched to HomeKit, I expected it to be much better than what it was. There are some basic functionalities I think it should have, but not. Here's my list. • Automations Bedre A better organization of Automation List, filters to organize in different […]
Registered in beta and software is completely up to date, but when I try to connect my iPhone to my Vizio TV over airplay or through homekit, I get the error it can't connect to. It even asks me for the password displayed on the TV. The TV is displayed in the list of airplay […]
Does anyone else experience this? My koogeek bulbs and led strips will occasionally fall down, which will reset them to full on / white mode. Latest firmware. How can I solve this?
I know people on this part have mentioned Home 3 and Controller / Home Controller as ways to better manage their home. Can people talk to their use of these apps? And how are they better than the Apple Home app? I'm struggling to pack my head around the deeper automations or features that the […]
I know there have recently been talks about what features are planned for iOS 13, as Apple concentrates on a "smart home push". What does this really mean and what features would you like to see in iOS 13? ➡️ iCloud background synchronization ➡️ Controls to stop cameras that are shared with those who share […]

Ever since upgrading my Apple TV 4K to 12.3, I notice that my HomeKit ** Automations ** is not working properly. Either ** timed triggers ** do not occur (Sunset, Sunrise), ** Sensor triggered ** automation (if movement, turn on light for 1 minute) and ** State-based ** automations (If plug A is turned on, […]

The home program does not allow me to rename a scene, says "Could not edit scene Foo". Neither Jan Andre's Controller app, say, "Objects with similar names exist". But I can't see the namesake scene, it's not mentioned anywhere (I've also seen in the Eve app). It probably exists in some ghost states because I […]
I have called Apple Support for issues I have with my HomeKit and it is not basic how to set it up but technical issues with their home program. It is sad to learn that they do not have a dedicated team and I find it hard to find someone who has HomeKit. If you […]
