  6. Touch Restart the HomePod.

    • Make sure you tap the restart option. If you tap Remove accessory, your HomePod will return to the factory settings.

If you’re ready to start all over again or plan to sell your HomePod to someone else, you need to know how to reset your HomePod. The easiest way to reset your HomePod to its factory settings is to remove the connection from the device you connected it to when you first set it up. Then, just a few simple steps in the Home application.

  1. Launch The home application.
  2. Touch Rooms.
  3. Swipe left or right to locate The room where your HomePod is, then tap and hold HomePod.

  4. Swipe down and tap settings icon.
  5. Swipe down and tap Reset HomePod
  6. Touch Remove the accessory.

    • Resetting the HomePod will restore it to the factory default settings. Continue only if you are sure you want to delete everything.
    • Resetting the HomePod will take a few moments and, once completed, you will hear a startup sound.

  5. Remove your finger from the HomePod after You hear Siri say that your HomePod is about to reset and he heard three beeps.

This will reset all settings and you will need to reconfigure your HomePod with your iPhone or iPad.
