Adaptive lighting for HomeKit is here! Introduced for the first time with iOS 14, the latest HomeKit feature automatically adjusts the color temperature of HomeKit-compatible light bulbs, light strips, lighting panels and lamps throughout the day. With Adaptive Lighting, your lights will display finer, yellowish tones in the morning, which lighten your day. During the afternoon, your lights will switch to cooler temperatures, which will help you energize and stay focused. Your lights will return to softer shades to calm the mind and promote evening rest to end the day. Although it seems complicated, it is easy to configure through the Home application. Here’s how to use Adaptive Lighting with HomeKit compatible lights.
